Operational since 2004, Sustainability in business is a consultancy delivering Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental training and advice, specialising in supporting small businesses who cannot afford a full time manager for quality management, environment or health and safety. The consultancy is headed by Tony Stewart - an experienced and adaptable business adviser, providing general consultancy and support in the area of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. As principle consultant, Tony uses his experience to provide advice to businesses that face increasing pressure to improve procedures, reduce Environmental impact and meet Health & Safety legislation

Why use consultants or freelancers?

Companies are often wary of employing consultants or advisers telling them what to do with their business. There are however distinct advantages to using a ‘freelancer’ as against permanent resources. So, if you are considering addressing Quality, Health, Safety or Environmental issues within your business, think carefully about how it will be managed. In many cases, you will find the best solution is to use external resources to complement your existing workforce – that’s where we come in. Our Consultants will focus 100% on the project - permanent employees will be concerned with day-to- day activities and may not be able to set time aside to take on additional responsibilities.
